Do you really think that Ward has the required punching power in order to "expose Golovkin's defensive flaws"?
What Ward does best is prevent his opponent from using his usual boxing style.
Which, in this case, seems not enough for me.

Stop hyping up Ward vs GGG...GGG is not ready even his Manager and Trainer have said it. Let GGG clean out 160 first and Andre Ward need somebody at 168 to grow a Pair and go fight him. Right now only Edwin Rodriguez is calling out Ward the Rest are using the "HE IS BORING" "HE IS NOT A DRAW" excuses because they know they cannot beat him. And fans are using that too because their favorite fighter has no ***in chance at defeating Andre Ward so they want him to just GO AWAY!

Sure GGG has his Flaws but he doesn't have to change anything until someone force him to do so

this is the easiest debate we can have on NSB.

If HBO thought GGG would beat Ward right now the fight would be made IMMEDIATELY because if he beats Ward first, given all the attention they've given him, would make him athe most respected new star in boxing.

The reluctance of Jim Lampley to even mention this fight tells us everything we need to know about HBO's mindset regarding this potential fight.

HBO are KNOWN marinaters

no doubt they see big fights with C jr and Martinez for the lineal title

They have their eye on the prize and GGG is their prize

watching ESPN years ago they put on Eric the terrible Morales and HE caught my eye,

Seems like they should push for ggg vs froch, since froch supposedly has an Iron chin and if ggg does knock him out in england he will make money and get more fans and set up a possible ppv vs Ward. And if Froch is able to pull it off, ward would have to come to the table and it would still be a match that would make alot of money. PS ggg would not have to worry about cutting off the ring with Ward cause ward will smother him fighting on the inside.

HBO seems hesitant to even speak on this possible matchup. I get it, GGG and Ward are their only power players, now that Pacquiao doesn't fight until November. They can't risk GGG taking a loss from Ward, because HBO viewers will only have 1 Power Player for fans to look to in Andre Ward, and fans aren't to hype about all out technical brilliance. They need GGG to stay undefeated at the moment.
