I just wonder how many people will turn on Matthysse now due to the fact he lost to Garcia. Garcia made me a fan tonight, but Matthysse is awesome to me too. It's just sad when people turn on fighters after a loss.

I worry about this as well because people care too much about losses.. I'm sill looking forward to the nest Lucas fight. Entertaining fighter.

Props to Garcia, showed his toughness and intelligence (a bit lucky with the holding and low blows but hey it worked) he is a legit Champion.

This was always a close matchup, I never understood why so many people thought it would be a whitewash for Matthysse.

As I said man, I maintained throughout that it was 50/50. And maintained that position. I said either guy can get KTFO and after hearing what Broner said about how Danny ''used to box but he don't box no more'' and his brilliant amateur pedigree I had a feeling he had something up his sleeve, at the open workout he looked fast as hell, he definitely worked on speed and it worked terrifically, he said he and his Dad had a great game plan and you must give it to him, Angel Garcia is a sharper cookie than people think, he saw Khan's weaknesses and beautifully instructed him on the necessity of a left hook counter after getting in his head and making him wild.. Angel Garcia keeps proving people wrong, like he said ''here we go again, people underestimating Danny'' he said he and Danny are the most underrated trainer/fighter combo and boy was he right. This is a classic example on a puncher getting overhyped... reminds me of Hatton vs Mayweather.. The wild puncher vs the disciplined accurate boxer. Danny has underrated speed and defense, that's something me, a Danny fan learned today, he's even better than I thought.

Well I don't know if you watched the Countdown Show that came on an hour before the PPV, but they had a nice little segment on Danny and his dad, how Danny was born with his umbilical cord around his neck, Angel's fight and victory over cancer, and how much Angel loves his son. It did make me see him differently and I'll admit, I hated on Danny because of his dad and that I really wanted Matthysse to win.

Danny "Swift" Garcia is THE 140 pound champion and deserves to be in the convo for the P4P list. Not necessarily on it, but he's close now. If he gets Floyd next, he earned it.

You'll find more material from me. I can think of about 20 times I uttered the phrase "I honestly can't see how Garcia beats Matthysse."

Yeah man, I'm not even religious or nothing like that, and I don't have other beliefs that are not scientifically backed, but after hearing about how he had the umbilical cord around his neck, how his Dad just survived cancer, how he has 6 toes, how half his family has asthma, I get the feeling that he's the genetic freak who survived and made it, I know it sounds crazy but the kids special, it was emotional seeing the sportsmanship he showed to Lucas, Danny is a really nice guy you can tell than, his Dad gets emotional and over the top but that's because anything can happen in that ring and that's his son, he doesn't really mean it .
