So impressed with Danny's performance. I knew he wasn't scared but I thought Matthysse would win a close fight. Instead, Danny took him to school. Two words film study. Danny and Angel had the perfect gameplan and Matthysse couldn't do anything to stop it. He's the first person to definitively beat Lucas. He's the real deal. 140 king pin.

Well I don't know if you watched the Countdown Show that came on an hour before the PPV, but they had a nice little segment on Danny and his dad, how Danny was born with his umbilical cord around his neck, Angel's fight and victory over cancer, and how much Angel loves his son. It did make me see him differently and I'll admit, I hated on Danny because of his dad and that I really wanted Matthysse to win.

Danny "Swift" Garcia is THE 140 pound champion and deserves to be in the convo for the P4P list. Not necessarily on it, but he's close now. If he gets Floyd next, he earned it.

Yeah the mouthpiece being knocked out was awesome. I'd like to see a rematch and i certainly think things may have gone differently had matthysse's right eye not swelled as bad as it did.
