Broner is hated more than overrated. If you can't box, you won't beat Broner imo. Matthysse and Maidana are sitting ducks for Broner who would just roll with their power and take them apart slowly.

Maidana yes I agree. He comes forward without much concern for defence and leaves himself open to counters. Unless Marcos can hurt AB to the body it should be straightforward for Broner.

Broner's 'boxing' is beyond over-rated. He stands right in front of guys, gets tagged a lot, has poor footwork and doesn't hit hard against guys his own size. He's got some ability, but he's not even close to elite.

i havent seen a fighter getting so much props for doing basically nothing since floyd mayweather. 2 loss in my book atleast against an awkward one dimensional power slugger ponce de leon and past prime feather fisted paulie. your thoughts?

He lost to Ponce de Leon, and leprechaun Rees gave him hell.
He had to look all over to find a champ he could have a chance against and found Paulie.
They gave him that fight to. He didnt do enough to get the belt in my opinionbut well, he seems to have big friends that do him favors..
I think he's the most overrated fighter in boxing today. No kidding, he just sucks and people talk as if he's some god.
