Stylistically Broner has got this, but I'm curious to see whether his chin is up to the test and whether he has carried enough power up to bother Maidana.

Should be a good scrap. I don't see Broner staying in front of Marcos like he did against Paulie. Marcos hits way way harder than Paulie does. I could see Broner outboxing Marcos. I really can't say who is going to win since I don't know how Broner will handle power from Marcos. Toss up fight in my eyes.

I see a knockout by Broner in this one. He's just too skilled for Maidana. Maidana has improved over the last couple years, I'll give him that. But he's wide open to the body and I think Broner will probably catch him with a body shot early on and finish the fight in 5 rounds.

I think so far Broner has shown no ability to fight off the back foot and a reliance to stand on the inside.

He's also shown no ability to hold when he has to.

And his chin hasn't been tested.

That's the 3 main reasons or questions why I think it might be an interesting fight.

Broner might come out and show the ability to do all of those things and dominate.

But, if he doesn't, and trys to walk Maidana down and go toe to toe with him I think he'll have some problems and I think that's likely to happen unless Broner show's us new parts of his game he's yet to show us.

I agree it's a very interesting fight, but just looking at it stylistically the only way Broner loses IMO is if he can't take the punches. If he can, he'll beat Maidana all night up close, and even if Maidana has success he won't win the fight. Broner's so much faster and sharper.

I guess we'll see. I expect a good fight, but a Broner win. Surprised so many think Maidana will win.
