why do people think that Floyd cant believe that Cotto is better but cant ask Canelo for a CW? Its not the same thing at all. I bet you anything that Floyd thinks Cotto is a better fighter then alot of guys at MW or SMW but that doesnt mean he will fight them without CW's.

You could easily argue that P4P Cotto is a better fighter than Canelo. The CW was because Canelo is 20 pounds bigger. That doesnt make him a better fighter than Cotto who has accomplished alot in the sport.

As for Hanzgruber, I think his point about the fight is that weight matters but the fight itself matters more. Would you rather have the fight at a 152 CW or not have the fight at all. Thats why he says not to complain. People complain about CW's too much. Every situation is different.

The Ward-Dawson fight was horrible and needed a CW. That wouldve been very fair. Floyd couldve easily had fought Canelo at 150 and definitely at 151. 152 is more than fair when a guy has 20 pounds on you in the ring and even bigger than that naturally

Manny said way before that he had no intentions of going above WW after the Margarito fight. Had nothing to do with ducking a guy that Manny already beat.
