No actually Lewis could fight on the inside. Lewis threw the right hand with far more regularity, threw hooks and uppercuts. When does Wladimir throw uppercuts? Can you name a Klitschko fight that was as thrilling as Lennox's with Shannon Briggs or Ray Mercer? The most exciting Klitschko fight ever by far involved Lewis.

Marciano beat a 37 year old ATG named Joe Louis who was 66-2 going into that fight !!! He also beat EVERYONE in his era that was there at HW to fight. You can only fight the HW that are in your era that are good-great. Larry Holmes was an excellent HW Champ. It wasn't his fault that he had 1 worthy challenger in his prime.

Ali..not even in my top 8 HW ATG.He was a very good HW who was constantly kissing canvas and stealing decision wins (See ass-beatings from Ken Norton).

      ATG HW :

      The Brown Bomber #1
      Brockton Blockbuster #2
      Lennox Lewis # 3
      Dempsey #4
      Vladimir KO #5
      Real Deal Holyfield # 6
      Easton Assassin Holmes #7
      Dr Ironfist # 8
      Ali # 9

Wow, so if Joe Louis was the animal he was at 25 and was 66-2 why do you have him above The Rock!? And why bring up the second chance at LaStarza when the guy was talking about the first fight?

The reality is Marciano's 0 is the only reason people consider him a top 10... You don't even have Jack Dempsey in yours, or George Foreman! Even the fact that you have Larry Holmes below Lennox and the Klitschko's is a travesty!

You have Ali at 9 when he was the standout boxer of the Golden Age of the division says it all, this is the worst heavyweight list I've ever seen! Hands down

Lennox is a legitimate top 10 - 15 heavyweight but let's be real, I've heard George say that 3 guys are up as the best heavyweights of all time, that's Ali, Louis and Dempsey! I've never heard him mention Lewis..

The most memorable things I've heard him say about him were he's been the most dominant of the previous generation, and that prime Tyson and Bowe beat him!!

Are we comparing excitement levels between Lewis and the Klits or are we agreeing that Lewis is not the best HW ever?

Yeah, down four times in 61 fights. Real constant kissing of the canvas.

I never said Lewis was the best HW ever. We were comparing him to the Klitschkos because you said they were basically the same.

Edgarg's take on LaStarza I is absolutely legit: Many ringside observers had LaStarza winning that first fight and it's mentioned in the newspaper reports of the time. The second fight has nothing to do with the first so I don't know why you even brought it up.

being 'exciting' has nothing with how good the boxer is... Price-Thompson was very exciting..

                      And 'exciting' is subjective thing...
