I throw up a video of George Foreman saying it himself.

And some of you senile fucks still don't get it.

Let me break it down to you, as clear as I can.

OLD FOREMAN DID NOT WANT IT.

He fought Frazier. He said he wouldn't fight Frazier. He fought Frazier. And whooped him from pillar to post.

He knew that Lewis would beat his ass. Lewis was the bigger, stronger, better fighter. At the time. Because George was 137 years old.

Of course, it's all subjective & if you think that a Klitschko or Tunney is the best ever you have that right.
The first one talking real sense on this page. people don't really know much, if anything about boxing history, and the opinions of professional analysts, who dealt with all fighters between 1905 and 1976. They chose Jack Johnson, and, more to the point, they explicitely stated why, in terms that even the dodos can understand.

Of course Lewis came along later, but nobody in a right mind would say that lewish could beat Ali, Foreman, Joe Louis, etc. all of whom were regarded as not as good as Johnson head-to-head.

          No butt hurt.

          Just the truth.

Foreman wanted no parts of Lennox Lewis.

          That so hard to comprehend?

Why are you attacking me? You're usually a stand up guy.

I understand entirely what you're saying.

My point is, what relevance does it have to anything or the overall point of the thread?

He said he wouldn't want to fight Lewis. And?

              Great.

"Hey bro. I've seen Jorge Paez fight Sandy Saddler in a smoke filled town hall back in 1867."

"Bull****, mate. Paez never fought at 147."

              Or did he....

If prime. Lennox fought prime Vitali 10 times, prime Vitali would win all 10 times unless a fluke cut opened up again. Vitali had his number, he was too big for Lennox to outbox, and Vitali's chin was too strong for him to knock out. Vitali also has apenchant for getting late round KOs while LL tended to get tired and didn't carry his power into the late rounds.
