Hard to say but I'd say GGG is better because he hasn't lost yet. I think Lucas got robbed both fights. He lost but the point is the fights was too close while GGG is knocking out everything he touches. Lucas has been on a ko roll too but the 2 sd loses puts him behind GGG IMO.

I don't think anybody would deny this even if Matthysse got the wins over Judah and Alexander

Maybe if he won by knockout, but he didn't...

for me , both bring the same intensity to the ring when they fight. how's it possible to like one over another.

Lucas beat Judah and Alexander. He has a better resume than Golovkin. Although Triple G is probably the better all around fighter.

              LOL

              Golovkin >>>> Lucas

Golovkin does everything better than Lucas, he shows more skill in every category, you can see GGG's amateur style and skill within the ring and how much it has helped him.

                  The X Factor

GGG is more technically sound but Mattheus, Pacquiao, Duran...these guys have the X factor. Fans go for that X factor.

Lucas has power, that's why the fans like him. Duran and Pac both have way more skill than Lucas has, they aren't just brawlers.

Golovkin has only recently been on TV and his fan base has been growing ever since. He can speak English (Lucas can't) holds boxing records currently (Lucas doesn't) has an amazing amateur pedigree, one of the best in the sport and is a silver medalist in the Olympics (Lucas doesn't), whenever he speaks he is means no harm and incidentally is always funny with his sentence wording. Lastly, he's active as hell, tries very hard and is a happy face to look at, but a beast in the ring.

I really, honestly believe Golovkin has the X factor and HBO know that and that is why he is being built up and everyone loves him.

X factor = unpredictable in the ring. Mean, nasty, crazy, wild... Like that dude you'd never dare rile up in school!

                      Forgot to mention Tyson.
