Not sure why so many people want him to lose, it isn't like he backstabbed a "team" like Lebron James did, a reason he will never be in the conversation of the greatest of all time in that sport, why want someone to lose just to see them lose? I want him to retire undefeated. Hard to criticize a perfect record. in the grand scheme of things as far as legacies and rankings go your resume is everything, but when you are at the peak of your career, the perfect record means everything, regardless of opponent. Perfect is perfect. The saying usually goes something like you haven't been tested until you take a loss and come back from it or something like that, you aren't a champion until you come back from a loss, I forgot how it goes and don't feel like looking it up, but you can also be so good that no one can put you into that position. As long as Floyd doesn't retire too late, like DLH or Toney, or even JMM might do, he should be safe with his record.
To be honest I don't expect Floyd to be in the top 10 of all time ever no matter who else he beats, but what would make me really happy/satisfied with his body of work, is seeing him retire undefeated and hearing all the haters of his cry about it for years to follow, not being able to do anything about it. If Floyd doesn't let it bother him, and we don't let it bother us, as fans of his, then they've got nothing.
