Catch weights happen all the time in boxing there's parts of contracts that we'll never know about that most people would Prbly think are way worse then two pounds

It's not so common for a beltholder to request to unify at a CW, highly unusual. It's only the paperest of titlists that request that.

Everybody and I do mean everybody would have given Floyd props for fighting Canelo if it wasnt for the catch weight.

The catch weight just leaves an unneccessary bad taste in the mouth

OF COURSE! That is what happens when your the best at what you do and you been on top for so long fans do want to see you fall.

You know your good when fans are looking for fighters that are not even in your weight class to try and defeat you.

Nothing wrong with fans always looking for someone new to challenge Mayweather but can they be in his Division at least

And NO GGG vs Mayweather is not a huge Match Up, only to the Hardcore Boxing Fans. Casual Fans have yet to even see GGG Box I am sure and those are the fans that actually spend their money on PPV's and Tickets

Nobody is "creating opponents" people just want to see him fight the best guys. If he beats a guy and then another dude kicking ass comes up the ranks people will want to see that fight.

Floyd had catch weights since Emmanuel Augustus, nothing new there. Just that most of his fans weren't even watching boxing back then until Oscar.

As for making new foes, that is what boxing is about. If he wants to face the Gueerero's all the time then do so, but it aint making bank that a Canelo fight will....

I've been watching boxing long before Oscar, Floyd, or Pacquiao even turned pro.

As far as the catch weight crap...Floyd and Pacquiao ain't the first ones to fight at catch weights and ain't gonna be the last. Y'all can't handle that? Go watch tennis or 16 and pregnant.
