    Pretty much.

You look at the respectable lists, and you see a lot of names with 120+ fights, multiple nemesis, trilogies.

It's a different "game" these days.

He might deserve to be in the top 20 all time greats.
I kind of see him as both also.

Floyd is a good boxer but he is also an arrogant prick! He has avoided fighters in their prime and some altogether. I wouldn't put him in the top 20.

If you ask the AKA Floyd haters they will point out that he is not worthy of ATG like the above mentioned, he doesn't deserve to be considered in that level, because they will point out that he is actually an ATD (all timeduck), (ok I just made up the ATD thing) but you know what I mean.
Why do they say this because according to the Floyd haters or doubters, he has avoided the likes of Pacquiao, Paul Williams, Margarito,
and avoided fighting others in their prime Cotto, Mosley, De La Hoya,
fought Zab only because he lost a split decision to Baldomir and cheating others on the scales (Marquez).
                    Did he avoid these fighters?
Did Floyd avoid fighting some of these guys in their prime?
I don't know, no body can say that with 100% certainty because there is no solid proof of that, even though there are some pretty good videos on places like youtube to support it.

The Floyd fans or AKA flo mos ( I'm sorry I'm not the one making these names up but lol!)
they would point out that Floyd as we all know is undefeated 44-0-26ko. They will also point out his impressive resume that sports big names like Robert Guerrero, Miguel Cotto, Victor Ortiz, Shane Mosley,
Juan Manuel Marquez, Ricky Hatton, Oscar De La Hoya, and those are his last seven fights in that order. His fans will also point out that Floyd is the number one attraction, the number one cash cow, brings the most revenue and sells the most pay per views. They claim he is the face of boxing and has been for about a decade.
The only thing there is no proof of for them is that he will fight any one at any time no matter how big the threat is to his beloved “0”.

I know where I stand. I have to admit that even though I hold a question mark over his head, I have enjoyed watching him fight in the ring or in interviews.
Floyd has made great moments for me, my friends and family and I love him for that.
Some times I root for him (Ricky Hatton fight) some times I root against him (Cotto fight) but that's my choice. I don't hate Floyd Mayweather and to tell you the truth I don't hate the people that get on boxing scene to hate on any fighter, I think it's very exciting.
Just keep out the disrespectful name calling PLEASE.
We are not children and you don't want to be a key board warrior.

So where does Floyd Mayweather stand in “YOUR OPINION” ?
My opinion is that he is an ATG and he has made some very good money choices that some might hold against him.
Greatest of all time? NO, but I would dare say his legacy is written in stone and he is in the top 20.
You took alot of time to write a bait OP for a bait thread, can't take anyone seriously who wants to discuss someone's legacy in seriousness and then puts a joke like "ATD" in the title.

But I will humor the audience and respond as if you were actually a rational and serious boxing fan. I consider Floyd an ATG, but not on the level of Ali or Robinson, one of the greatest mistakes of a younger generation in any generation, is they assume that the greatest in their era automatically would be the greatest in any era, and in the sport of boxing that's so far from the truth, I have to question your boxing knowledge.

It wasn't for anybody to take it that serious but I guess you did.
