You actually think Arum makes stars out of fighters? When was the last time you heard anything about Guillermo Rigondeaux and his next fight? We have seen numerous stories about Nonito Donaire since he lost to Rigondeaux, but very little about the winner and the guy who should be the star. For that matter, when was the last time you heard anything from Zahir Raheem? He is the guy who defeated Eric Morales before Morales fought his second fight with Pacquaio on PPV. Raheem should have been the one starring in that fight with Pacquaio since he won. Also, who is Mike Alvarado going to fight next? According to his manager, his hand would have been healed in time to fight Pacquaio in October. But, instead, the loser of the last Alvarado/Rios fight and Arum's star, Brandon Rios got the fight.

Signing with Arum would be the biggest mistake of Ward's career. He might get a fight with Chavez, but he would then end up in a wasteland with no promotional support just like Rigondeaux and Raheem and Alvarado. Why do you think Mayweather bought out his contract with Arum and Cotto left him?

Ward has made plenty of money in his career and gets paid well for his fights. However, he has to realize that he will never be on the same level as Floyd Mayweather, just as Broner, Alvarez and Pacquaio will never be on the same level as Mayweather.

you clearly are a moron. TR built up guys like margo, cotto and chavez to do 500k ppv buys, what ppv guy has anyone else built up? nobody

pacs last fight with marquez did more ppv than floyd did vs guerrero, who built up pac? heck who laid the ground work with floyd? huh? cat got your tongue boy? tr did it all

It is clear from your posts you are biased but think of it this way

in the last 5 years, think of every boxer doing more than 400k ppv buys, most are or were made by tr

cotto, margo, pac, chavez, floyd and I am sure I have missed some out

ward will still leave, it may take longer but if he wants the ppv market, his only option is tr, nobody else will help him achieve his dreams

lol at you comparing alvardo, broner to pac as well at the end, what a fool, pac makes 30m per fight, they make 1m per fight

the hate is strong in you child

experience counts for a lot in life, tr knows how to build up guys to star their own ppv

you gotta understand, what tr does do is market very well when the fights are made, look at raheem, its clear you have just started following boxing, the reason he never became it was because he lost soon after and then gave up

look at how well donaire has been built up dude? rigo will take time, you need to have more than 2 handful of fights to be a star, you need at least 3 or 4

i get it that you love floyd (well I don't get you people but still meh) but you cannot be as ****** as him, on top of that come out in public and make yourself look like a moron

        think before you post

Ok,let's start with Rigo..Dude has 12 fights,do you really believe he is going to be a star just yet??A star is built, not some over night thing..You bring up Mayweather..You did'nt know what Mayweather could be,before he beat Hoya who thought Mayweather could replace or surpass Hoya??Yea nobody..Boxing fans are some of the most impatient/emotional fans in the sport..

Pac is a star because of how he was brought along..Noway was you putting Pac(the star right now)in with Alvarado..From Arum's perspective it does not make sense..Rios is a bigger star then Alvarado, which will mean more money..Also can be billed as a cross roads fight(which we all know is bogus cause should Rios lose he's going to fight Alvarado again, and both will get more money)Alvarado in the mean time get's to heal up..Instead of taking even more punishment..I also believe he will have a fight soon enough, there is no rush on these things..

You know what happen to Raheem??He lost to Freitas, funny how there is no mention of that..Arum can't fight for you,Manny was chasing names..Which sadly at the time Raheem was not..He was just the guy who beat Morales, and tbh that's it..You wanna blame Arum for how Raheem's career turned out??That's does not seem fair imo..Are you also gonna blame Arum for Mike Jones??Jones had a shot(regardless of how long it took to get it)and came up short..Not Arums problem, that's life..Same goes for Clottey..

TR in this era and last has seen fighters like Mayweather(don't believe Mayweather just got to where he's at without a helping hand)Hoya Vargas Mosley Rios Pac Cotto Marga's etc etc..Look at Bradley..Another fighter not a real draw making mills with TR and Arum..Not to mention being promoted right bro..Give credit where it's due,TR is the best promotional company in the business hands down..Can we name some stars that GBP created??I'll wait..

Goosen always comes over as straight but does not have the big time leverage. He can not be happy with any of this.
Ward is in a really weird situation now. What a mess.
Damn I was joking lol. Holy **** it really is a small world!

Arum built Oscar, Floyd, Cotto and Pacquiao as stars. WTF are you talking about? Rigondeaux is a special case because of his ultra defensive style, Ward is more offensive minded than him. Signing with TR would be great for his career, he'd get a Chavez fight and after that nothing would stop him from fighting guys outside the TR stable. Much better than staying with a mid level promoter like Goosen.

Ward needs to 1) quit getting hurt, and 2) keep getting stoppages like against Dawson.

I don't think he needs the Mayweather type personality to get popular if he does those things.

A well thought out post with no hate or cheerleading, what happened to the real Check_hooks?

your lawyer's knowledge of betting on boxing would have nothing to do with his ability to look through the language in your contract and advocate for your dismissal from goosen tutor.

Andre is just stuck in a bad spot. Feel bad for him but I expect Goosen to win this court battle. It's not Goosens fault. This is what happens when your #2 and some actually think your better then #1 but get paid way less!!! Way less!!!

I absolutely cannot believe that DWYER is Andre Ward's lawyer.

                      I'm literally lost for words.
