Read the article - Goosen paid for two lawyers with all the money Ward has made for him - while Ward could only afford a ******** addict.

Kiddin, i enjoy Dwyer's videos and assume he's a decent lawyer - but it was 2 lawyers vs 1 in this case - that's the point - Ward's legal firepower was outnumbered in the courtroom.

I don't think it has to do with 2 vs 1 lawyer. Ward signed an exclusive contract with Goosen. You have to know that it's very hard to get out of a contract if the counterpart doesn't violate any terms of the said contract, which I doubt Goossen did.

Actually I don't even know why Ward ever thought he could have pulled that one off. What was he basing on to claim a contract break by the way ?

Ah, HBO will no doubt inform us about 15 times that this is Ward's first defeat since he was 12 years old.

I think Arum did not wanna pay the money it would coast to get Ward..Arum's money is limitless..You know he wants that Ward Chavez fight, wonder why he did not put money in from behind the scene..I also wonder does a Ward Chavez fight still get made now??

I'm glad Ward didn't get a chance to commit career suicide by signing with Top Rank nobody need 6 fights with Ward vs Chavez Jr

Career suicide my azz..Look at TR's track rec compared to other promotional company's in this business..TR makes stars..You my not like Arum, but his company has made a bunch of stars and continues to do so..Ward would have made his best money with TR and got his name out there on a grand scale..You think it's for no reason Ward wanted to leave Goossen??Who I assume has been very good to Ward??

Ward should just go into commentating full-time at this point. He and BHOP won't fight (the biggest fight for both guys), Calzaghe isn't fighting him and he isn't moving down in weight.

His options are limited at this point unless he moves up in weight.

Because Ward would want to be the "A-side" when in reality Chavez jr would be the a-side and Arum knows it.
