Floyd is right that people remember winners, but people absolutely remember KO artists, probably more-so. It's one reason Pacquiao will be remembered just as well as Mayweather. It's also the reason that the heavyweight division, when loaded, is the king division.

Yep. Some boxers (I don't even want to call them fighters) are just happy to survive. Haye was smiling at the end of the 12th round in the Klitschko fight. Boxers like Lara run all night. Rigondeaux, Vasquez, Abril, to name a few. Mayweather himself is satisfied winning by UD/SD. It's not easy to beat such boxers. It's also hard for fans to root for such boxers. They bore you to death. Every time they fight fans jump up and down when they get KTFD or KOed....It took Mayweather a Hoya fight to become an attraction. Whole world was rooting for Hoya. He lost by SD. Fans wanted a rematch. Floyd wanted none of Hoya ever again. Since then fans followed Mayweather around to see him lose. That explains the PPV attraction.

Floyd doesn't mind coasting so long as the victory is in his hands but if Canelo tires the way he did against Trout and Mayweather brings that killer instinct, Mayweather may not get the stoppage but Canelo could take a serious beating.

Floyd's survival meter will be at its peak in this fight. Boxers who fight to survive are more dangerous than ones who want to take you out. A fight where fighters aim to KO each other is not the same as a fight where one or the other's objective is just to survive, one wins by KO and the other by UD/SD. Needless to say, Canelo has to win by KO. But Floyd is fighting for survival. He'll do everything, hit, run, hold, clinch, you name it.

This fight is not easy to predict for me.
