All in all it was and awesome event and I think golden boy might of got the hint that its time to bring some big time boxing back to the chi as the turn out was huge Anybody else hit the Chicago theater 2day???
I was at the Chicago presser when Floyd was about to fight De La Hoya.

They boo'ed Floyd then. He's still undefeated tho.

Also, De La Hoya signed autographs for about five minutes and BOUNCED. Droves of fans were left without an autograph. Guess who stayed to sign every shirt, poster and picture? You guessed it: Money May.

I'm kinda glad to hear that because I was thinking of going to the San Antonio presser just for that reason. I think the crowd will be full on pro Canelo so maybe it will be easier to gey a pic with Floyd there than it would be in some other places. However, it may be so bad that he just dips out like he did there....lol

Yeah Mayweather left as soon as it ended. I didn't even see him leave. The crowd vibe in the queue was awesome. There was a point were we started chanting "WALGREENS" when we saw walgreens workers observing us from a walgreens next to the theatre. It was dumb as ****.

I was there. Mayweather or his team does not care about the booing. All they care about is the fans buying the fight. All, Showtime, TMT, and GBP care about is the turnout in these events. But it was a good, lively event. Definitely not surprised by the Mexican turnout. This is Chicago. I expect a big PPV number on this fight even-though most people expect another dominating performance. Lastly, I love nationalistic pride. It's a great way to make money.

man, i was planning on going ever since they announced they were stopping here. i woke up today feeling like crap, looked outside and it was wet outside. i thought it would rain later during the day as well (like 3-6). i told myself if i was to go i'd head over there around 11/12, but i ended up skipping out on it. when did you guys get there? (the ones who went to the presser) on the chicago theater's twitter they said they were going to hand out tickets at 3 and the presser would start at 6. were a lot of people able to take pics and get stuff signed?

I got there around 12. Even then we got good spots near the front. They gave out tickets at 3 but they were general admission. In other words, first come first serve. So it was advised to stay in line to get good seats. And the security was kind of bad. Couple fights almost broke out. A lot of em were involved with people who had a buzz going from drinking in line.
