I dont want to sound like im hating on Canelo but everybody's calling him the new cash cow. Hes a huge star no question but we both know this is just another way to discredit Floyd. I try to stay away from posting in Floyd threads because on this site your either a Floyd hater or a Flo-Mo. Theres no in between but I couldnt resist. One mans making 40 mil and the others making 12. And your calling the guy making 12 the cash cow? That doesnt pass the laugh test.

What are the closed circuits like at the hotels? Has anyone ever been. We werent able to get tickets but I will be in vegas and booked a flight and hotel at bellagio for the weekend and I want to know if the closed circuit is worth it or not. Where else can u even watch the fight In vegas.

Canelos a big draw and a big part of the fight, but it's bringing in numbers because people think May might lose.... no one thought he'd lose to guerrero so he had a lot of fan buys not a lot of hater buys.....haters will eat this one up big time.

I don't know that Canelo was gifted stardom, he has been fighting professionally against grown men since he was 15 years old and has never lost.

You're absolutely right...but point I was making was it's not so much as his "star power" as it is his threat level. He's helping sell the fight not because hes a major draw persay but a major threat. Put on Canelo vs Guerrero in ppv and it'll do very very low numbers. Mayweather sells on star power, canelo on threat level...is how I view it.
