All I'm talking about is natural size buddy. Floyd and Pac are only 2-3 years apart in age. At the same age (16) they were fighting in roughly the same division. And in their mid 30s, they're still fighting in the same division. One shouldn't be more glorified than the other where it comes to fighting "bigger guys." Its not that deep.

He can say whatever he wants and his loyal followers will mindlessly believe whatever boloney comes forth from his undefeated lips; but the fact of the matter is.....Floyd, who admittedly "loves the money", turned down oodles and oodles of it for fear of his "O" going away in an embarrassing manner.

All the hulaballoo about Manny being overrated is mere anger at himself for waiting too long to enact his "Sugar Ray Leonard" strategy of taking advantage of a man who has slowed down just enough to beat him.....ala Leonard/Hagler.

Up until now...well, a few years ago, I guess...I believed the greatest fight that never took place was Lewis/Bowe, until I realized that Rid**** never could have handled Lewis with the late great Manny Steward in his corner. (with Pepe Corea, it's still debatable).

Now, unfortunately, Mayweather/Pacquiao holds that dubious position for all time. Not because of greedy promoters, or the mob, or injury; but because one fighter who wants so badly to be recognized as "great" didn't have what it took to dare to be great....and that, in and of itself, says something about the man as a fighter, regardless of how much physical talent and excellent boxing skill he displayed through out his career. When his true moment came......he opted to let it pass. And, for one, I hope that keeps him up at night into his old age.

      Peace, I'm out.
Manny was a well protected fighter who couldn't speak for himself and avoided the biggest fight of his life. Yes, he was highly entertaining and deserved many of the accolades he received. But he was never going to beat Floyd. Many of Manny's fans hoped he would never have to face Floyd.

      Virtually everyone knew the outcome.

They, and the experts, including Arum and Roach, knew Manny was not winning that one.

          • lol, pacquiao actually fought and beat prime atg's
and if anyone was built up by the media floyd was, having him as #1 while only fighting once a year against the likes of fat marquez and ortiz while pacquiao fought twice was sad

            • forget that!!

I say forget that whole Manny vs Floyd, who's better crap.. because they've both ducked, they've both cherry picked, they've both avoided each other.. some because of greed, or fear, pride or all of the above.. Whatever the reason was to justify not fighting each other.. it doesn't really matter, they cheated us boxing fans, yet we still rewarded their lavish lifestyle and ever so growing pockets by buying some of their bull**** fights.. you can go ahead and compare wins and losses in manny's case all you want.. but the truth of the matter is that nobody will be right.. just because they never laced them up.. all mayweahter fans' theory arguments have holes just like manny fans.. but you'll never know! so just get over it and move on!

this is a lie, i was around the forums at that time and if anyone didn't want the fight it was the floyd fans who would just go on about "what's the point, floyd would clown him anyway" and would parade around the forum all happy and sht everytime the fight failed to pull through

Canelo ! The WW's have been decimated not due to JR but because they beat each others brains out while Jr was on vacation or in retirement

                    Funny ain't it !

An Elite appears on the Scene ,,,like Cotto back in 2007 and Jr goes into
                    RETIREMENT

                    Or

Margo at the time came up to JR and somebody had to clean JR's draws

Funny ain't it ,,,,,,,,,,,,and you love him hahahahahaha

It will never happen unless lil floyd joy is able to make his balls go out again after they shrank down to his throat after seeing Pacquiao KOed Hatton cold within the 6-minute mark.
