Guerrero is a bum? Didn't look like one beating Berto's ass down. And he'd put on a clinic against Rios too guaranteed.

I for one have no problem with Manny fighting Rios at this moment, in fact I think its a dangerous fight coming off a KO loss, but normally this fight would be no problem for Manny, BUT...the issue is even if Manny wasn't KO'd this would still be the fight he would take...Manny has a track record of fighting guys for their names and styles only, he's fought enough guys coming off of losses and tough back to back wars and unimpressive victories just because they have a name or a style that matches up well with his.

Floyd has fought every different style of fighter and ONLY fights guys when they're coming off of their best wins...say what you want but Manny has been mishandled and its a fact that he was built up by the media to this level...the only time he ever fought someone who could really box and dish it back he got exposed (Marquez).

Not to say Manny isn't great, he's still an absolute MACHINE, no one his size even has any business up at 147 destroying mofos like COtto, Margarito, Shane etc but he's not like Floyd, Floyd is all time elite, Floyd is just gifted on another level and earned his dues and y'all are one day gonna understand that

Mayweather didn't shamelessly duck Pacquiao anymore than Pacquiao and Bob Arum shamelessly ducked a fight with him. Most rational people have been able to see this over the last couple of years, but the goofs that are so emotionally invested in either are so blinded by love/hate that they can't see it.

Yes, poor Hagler: being taken advantage of by an inactive, career-long welterweight - with a total of one fight in five years - who he was heavily favoured to obliterate.

Guerrero isn't an ATG, but he's far from a bum. He was also the best available welterweight at the time. The ideal macth-up for Floyd would have been JMM, but there was no point in that fight.

I would say fighting the guy that just outclassed Rios in his last fight would be a lil more dangerous....kiddo.

Triangle theories dont cut it fella. He is just a more accomplished fighter, stamping your feet about it and saying everyone except floyd fans are wrong doesnt either.

Who has Floyd fought who mimics Pacquaio? Also, Pacquaio fought and beat Bradley easily, and you forget Pac has fought and beaten all 3 of the great mexican trio. I love how you say Marquez 'exposed' Pac, to say that you could practically say Pacquaio 'exposed' Marquez... having a difficult fight doesn't expose you, nor does fighting a difficult fight 4 times. You chat so much **** it's unreal, Morales, Barrera and Marquez are all great boxers, Pacquaio faced them all and rematched them all, how can you to say he only faces them based on styles when he has faced both brawlers and boxers?

By the way, Andre berto is a joke, he's nothing but a gate-keeper, and it's funny how beating Berto gets Ortiz and Guerrero a shot at Mayweather... fail. You overvalue Mayweathers opponents, honestly.

All Pacquaio fans use to justify there stance is triangle theories and stamp their feet saying "Floyd is scared of Manny." Like I said, I'm still trying to figure out what great accomplishments Pac has that Floyd doesn't. Outside of a couple paper titles of course.

Guerrero was a nobody who was nothing special, he's no better than Victor Ortiz, he didn't have the speed or boxing ability to even come close to Mayweather, everyone knew the outcome.

Also, if you think Alvarado has ANY chance against Pacquaio moreso than Rios then you're clueless. Alvarado's boxing is average at best, he has a worser chin than Rios and would most likely be on his bike the whole fight. Brandon can hit hard and take a shot a lot better, he's more of a risk to Pacquaio at this point, let's be honest if you think Mike could outbox Manny you're dreaming, kiddo.

I'm not a pacquiao fan, and thats something else flom's tend to do. If you arent pro floyd, you must be pro-manny. I'm pro- boxing personally, Manny is just the more accomplished and appreciated fighter and he is on the back of what he has done. Floyd had his chances to strive for greatness but went for the money instead, and good luck to him, just dont try telling anyone who actually knows the sport that Floyd has accomplished more because its ridiculous. That crap might float on f-hype or world star, but thats about it.
