floyd earned his spot as well. its just the only time a certain segment of posters admit that is when they are arguing with a poster that is pumping up Broner.

floyd "retired" when he did and that inactivity was one of the reasons he wasn't voted fighter of the decade award. we agree thats on him. but like I told Moderntalking-Karl Malone has 2 MVP's when Jordan was playing- voters had their reasons but that doesn't change the fact Jordan was and is better.

well the panels that voted p4p lists-guys who are not partisan fans- continuosly voted floyd in the top spot. even guys who had valid reasons to despise floyd still wouldn't risk their credibility by voting manny #1. when the fight was close to signing-floyd was the betting favorite. so clearly outside of NSB there was a 1 and a 2.

As far as the debate as to who is the better fighter goes, it's totally subjective, really. Both fighters have accomplished so much in their careers that you could make a great case for either being the better fighter. I personally believe that Manny is the better of the two but that doesn't mean I'm going to tell people that they're wrong for thinking Floyd is better. It's when someone has the arrogance to say that Floyd is definitely better than Manny and it can't even be debated, that's what gets to me.

That is laughable. Of course it can, has been and in general decided overwhelmingly by the public and boxing fans alike. Up to this point, Manny has accomplished more than Floyd. You dont like it, obviously, and dont agree, but you are a floydiot so nobody would expect you to.

Manny will be more remembered for being knocked out by Juan Marquez than anything he has ever achieved in his career. First he loses to Bradley then in his next fight he brutally knocked out. I think this speaks volumes to how overrated Pacquaio was. He will never be the same fighter again.

Floyd never fighting Pacquiao and letting Marquez take the glory is what fans will remember, only a small handful of racist black power flowmos will say other wise. Ridiculous. Cases can be made for both fighters but more often than not made for Pacquiao, at this point. No point in arguing anyways as their careers aren't over.

I didn't say cases can't be made for both guys. All I said is that when you lay their careers on the table, Pac's wins aren't far in away better than Floyd's. And Floyd has made it through unbeaten, whereas Pac has 4 loses and 3 other very close calls. To me, that puts Floyd over the top.
