You call it trying? Broner is inferior.......

Did Floyd say he was going to KO those 2? Broner sure did go on record saying he'd knock Paulie out & what happened?

Different kind of fight - Paulie would have to be the stalker, which would prove hazardous to him......

With the disparity in the amount of punches, you say Paulie ran? Obviously, math is not your strong suit....

Yes, Castillo beat Floyd in the 1st fight & Floyd handily beat him in the rematch. And Hernandez was what? Time to log off......

You've got to beat the best to be the best but you've also got to keep beating the best on a regular basis to stay the best on a PFP list - that means activity and top opposition.
Marquez lost to Pacquiao November '11, then beat Pacquiao November '12. Other than that, who's he been fighting to stay active? He's fighting Tim Bradley this year which should be an awesome fight. But Floyd has been fighting as often as JMM has. He beat JMM, Mosley, Ortiz, Cotto and Guerrero since 2009 That's fairly active. Now he's getting his 2nd fight in 2013. I don't see the argument for "activity"

Pac hasn't earned that in his last 3 combined. At least be honest with yourself no matter how much you hate Mayweather.
Also, is there more of a threat than Canelo between 140 and 154 right now?
That's not true. Pac made at least 26m for JMM or Bradley fights, per Dan Rafeal.

Also, Floyd didn't offer Pac 40m, he offered it to Pac and Top Rank to split among themselves. Pac and TR split at least that much for JMM 3 or 4, so that makes it a laughable offer.

To me is sounded like Floyd is embarrassed to have broner compared to him.

75% of these posters in this thread don't even know who Hernandez is. Comparing Ponce De Leon to Genarro is just...meh.

He has the share for highest ppv event in history with DLH. The 3 highest guaranteed purses in boxing history (32M, 40M & 40M).

Secondly, JMM cannot be ranked ahead of Mayweather for 2 reasons:

              1) Mayweather COMPLETELY dominated him in their bout.
              2) JMM said himself he wants nothing to do with another fight with Mayweather. "We all saw what happened the first time."

I have no problem with JMM being ranked 2 or 3 (Him and Ward, with Ward looking completely unbeatable in his division). But to rank him above Floyd is pretty outlandish to be honest.

Lol you must be the dumbest guy here. Pbf has not sold more ppv than oscar yet nor he is more succesfull. Pbf owns a ****ty promitional company with what boxer signed up??????? Dlh owns the #1 promotional company has a soccer team owns ring magazine etc etc.

Pbf vs dlh pbf 25 mil dlh 52 mil enough said. Why does pbf need GB to promote his own fights i mean if he is more succesfull he wouldnt need no one or 50 cent to try to invest on his company lol.

You must be a biased pbf fan.

On to JMM how would pbf do if he goes up and fights ward and gets cheated of 2 pounds???? I heard he asked for 2 less in a divisin where he is champion JMM never has business to fight with floyd simply too small

hey Floyd, NO ONE has come close to putting Paulie on the canvas, let alone knocking him out -- even a diminished Paulie has enough ring smarts and technical skills to stay off the canvas against an elite guy

Good point and since broner is not elite of course there was no chance.

The point is out of all those fighters who really had a chance at pbf maybe ortiz and we all know how that turn out thats the difference on the other hand JMM at the ave of 40 takes risk after risk now he is doing bradley for less money than pac

What do you mean? Paulie was on the canvas and hurt real bad in his last fight, vs Cano. He's also been stopped twice.
