i agree, paulie was touching broner, people just think because the punches were light and not heavy that they dont count, but still a ok test to see how he is at 147 and through 12 rounds

I'd love to see Mayweather VS Broner, but something tells me Broner will lose soon and the fight won't have the same appeal.

Ha! is floyd serious? he has been hand-picking opponents for past 3-4 yrs.
AND in past 3 yrs and 5 fights, he has 1 knockout - and only bc he took a cheap shot. Yes, we know it was legal and you should protect yourself at all times, but there's no dispute he got the KO bc Ortiz didn't see the punch coming so he didn't defend it at all. Mayweather is such a joke. A great fighter, but truly a joke

Just an observation, that aside paulie really exposed broner.
Well, as with Andre Ward, it's just gonna take one single comment from Broner to set Floyd off...After Canelo, Floyd still has 3 fights left in his Showtime contract, and as we've seen with Floyd, that could take 2 -3 years before he retires. I doubt Broner can steer clear of his lane for that long. If Broner manages a spectacular win sometime soon, Floyd definitely won't want to hear the boxing world talking about someone else more than him...especially someone who has hijacked his shtick. Floyd vs Broner in late 2014.

I don't see Broner losing for a while for the simple fact GBP has a potential money-making machine with the guy. They'll match him pretty well for a while. Floyd will most likely be long gone in the sport of boxing before Broner catches an L on his record.

I'd love to SEE the fight because Broner is in desperate need of being humbled. Being KO'd by one punch doesn't really have the same humbling effect, to me, as getting completely schooled, dominated and frustrated for 12 rounds. I think Floyd would toy with the kid, and let him know that he's got a LONGGG ways to go before he's gonna be considered a top notch contender. But like you said it's probably not gonna happen regardless lol

I actually think it wouldn't be that entertaining. a lot of posturing and 1 punch at a time wit no combos. that's one thing that was disappointing about Broner's last fight. I didn't see a lot of combinations like I had in past fights. he seemed to be loading up on the right but with Malignaggi's footwork and Movement and Broner's first fight over 135, the punches didn't have the same effect. there were some hard shots, but at no time was Paulie even really wobbled

4 fights left! Even longer! Hopefully it happens!

Thank you for schooling this ignorant MFer.

He doesn't dislike Broner but he never cared too much about him, I think Al Haymon pushed him to hang out with Broner and somewhat take him under his wing as a way to promote the kid. But in reality Floyd could care less about AB.

have u followed boxing the past 3-4 yrs. Floyd could care less if the public talks about another fighter more (like Manny Pacquiao being considered #1 lb 4 lb when floyd returned from his "retirement"). If he deems a fighter a threat - he won't fight him.
Even if it seems obvious to most that Floyd would win (vs Margarito), he usu. doesn't take the fights vs. the fighters that are being talked about the most - although I didn't think he'd fight Canelo, so maybe that is changing

Lol Floyd wanted $10M for the Margarito fight and a guaranteed $8M for Cotto fight. Arum said $7M for Marg fight and same with Cotto. Floyd turned it down bought out his contract at Top Rank and went on to be the most successful boxer in the history of the sport. Had nothing to do with ducking people
