What "brand"?
Pacquiao didn't become a star until he beat Oscar who was the biggest "brand" in boxing at the time. Oh my, some of you kids need to do your research.

The fact that he was THE #1 p4p fighter in the world gave Oscar LITTLE option as to who his next fight was gonna be against, once he "ducked" Margarito (which btw, Cotto/Margarito 1 was one of the best fights I've ever seen live on non ppv). My question was, and still is, don't you think if Oscar REALLY had a chance to create a huge fight at 154, he would've much rather done that? Instead, his most viable option from a business standpoint was against Pacquiao. Thus, forcing the issue of a 147 pound fight. Again, read between the lines, sir.
And what was the sidebar about Cotto-Margarito? Was that some attempt at claiming you've been watching boxing for long?Oh and that was on PPV

Pacman had only one fight at 135 so he almost moved up 3 division up or equivalent to 17 pounds while De La Hoya moving down 1 division up(7 pounds less),,,,
Floyd fought at 154 twice already and holding a JR MW 154 title while Canelo is a fellow champion at 154 and still Floyd wants 152 CW.......WOW
