Hey Saul dont say anything just pull a Floyd when he fought Marquez and know you're not going to even try to make the weight and weigh 154 and pay the fine...

        True.
But Canelo is still growing and he can't even make 154 easily by now...
One should keep the arguments strictly on business grounds...

Alvarez would lose no matter what he weighs
he and GB are in this for the money and the exposure
he's a grown man and can't complain, he signed up for it
152 can't help him, but won't be the reason he gets murked

So IF Canelo comes in at 154 night of weigh in...
Will he have to vacate his 154lbs light middleweight titles haha, so ridiculous!
Floyd knows Canelo's stamina isn't the best and he wanting to take advantage of that.

It's pretty funny that Mayweather was trying to say that Alvarez wanted a catchweight.

Do you realise what that says about Mayweather? Josesito Lopez and Alfonso Gomez were willing to fight Canelo at 154 coming from 140.

Mayweather isn't willing to fight Canelo at 154 even though he has fought at 154 twice.

That's the only thing I take from your post.

Back in Nov 2011, just after the Citron fight, Canelo stated to the BLH that he would go down to 150 for Floyd:

"It's what I want, the Mayweather fight. We put it on the table. It was a year of great experience, and I feel more mature. I'm willing to go down to 150 pounds. De La Hoya said he was going to try to make the Mayweather fight. We're ready for it."

The actual problem, now, is that Canelo is still growing and can't easily make even 154...

the righteous and proper thing to do would be to come in at 154lbs.

floyd fought cotto and oscar at 154 and is 2x 154lb champion not to mention he screwed marquez over with the weight.

Canelo should do the right thing and come in at 154lbs.

                      screw that immoral scumbag.
