Matthysse gets countered to death and loses a UD.

That would require standing your ground, and not doing the moonwalk the whole time.

Mayweather can punch going backwards especially pulling back to counter. Just a bad style for Matthysse

You know the term punching going backwards doesn't literally mean you're punching while you're going backwards. You still have to set your feet, and commit to that counter.

And when he uses the check hook, he's moving off to the side.

I wasn't talking check hook i was talking the pull counter right over top of the jab. Mayweather rarely uses the check hook anymore.

All Floyd needs is his jab and his right hand for this fight. Matthysse swings too wide and isn't fast or clever enough to walk Floyd into anything. Floyd takes a clear UD.

Yeah, he's still planting his feet with that shot, and when he throws that shot, he's not going backwards. I think you took the term "punching going backwards" to literal. Either way, he lunges in with that shot.

Floyd needs more than just the jab and right hand if you know anything about boxing. He also needs SUPREME movement, pitch an absolutely perfect game, and clinch for dear life if he doesn't want to taste Matthyse's power.

Mayweather has supreme movement and would of course use it. You're overrating Matthysse big time here and I am even high on Matthysse.

Are you saying Matthysse wins? He couldn't KO old Zab or even Devon he isn't getting to Mayweather.

I'm not overrating Matthysse. You're overrating how "easily" Floyd would beat him.

8-4 type UD IMO isn't really overrating.
