I like Amir Khan but he's got more holes in his game than Lionel Messi does in his tax filings. Khan turned pro way too early (would have been much better waiting for another olympics TBH) and has had the sense beaten out of him because of it.
Come on brother you make it seem as though Khan was non exsitent in those fights i do recall Khan Stopping Paulie (Who you ironically forgot to mention at all LMAO), Judah and knocking down both Peterson, Maidana and hurting Garcia. Khan has good ring general ship nevertheless anyway say for arguements sake he didnt. He has still managed to defeat top tier opposition and lose to the Number 1 guy in the division. Broner on the other hand has failed beat anyone on that level.

He has got a lot of holes in his game especially his defence but lets be honest here broner was getting hit by hobbit rees. And if he didnt have weak hands it would have been an interesting fight.

        I think we're arguing 2 different points.

I concede (because it's true) that Broner has not fought at the level Khan has.

However Khan has had trouble at almost every step of the way up the ladder. He was getting bounced around the ring and caught on the ropes against the likes of Willie Limond.

Khan is a very talented fighter, but he lacks all the decision making and judgement required to be a "ring general". Ring generalship is about controlling the ring and manipulating your opponent into places you want them to be and avoiding places you don't want to be. Khan is constantly caught in places he shouldn't be (on the ropes) and constantly getting caught with his hands down (lack of awareness of opponents range). Khan is nearly devoid of ring smarts, but because he is so offensively gifted he gets away with it for the most part - but is always on that precipise, which is what makes him so exciting to watch.

Broner, in his short career so far, has rarely been in a position in a ring where he doesn't want to be. Nobody has backed him up to the ropes or caught him in a corner. He doesn't get caught defenseless and in range. That alone gives him more "ring generalship" points than Khan.

Ring generalship != movement. Khan moves a lot. It's just not very controlled or purposeful. It's not like he wheels to an opponents weaker hand or manoeveurs an opponent into a tight spot of the ring, or moves to tactically take away an opponents offensive game.

This entire fight is a joke. GBP even attempting to build this fight as some sort of mini super grudge fight is disgusting. The undercard is decent though

I believe him and I don't see nothing wrong with asking a Veteran fighter who had some success as a pro for advice especially when your a 19-20 year old fighter getting ready to go into the biggest fight of your career at that time

It is no different then Mayweather talking about having a Picture of the late Genaro Hernandez on his wall then years later he was in the ring fighting him.

A lot of the pre fight stuff is to build up the fight and to get peoples attention and both have don't a great job doing that, I am sure after the fight regardless who wins it will be nothing but respect.

i still believe Ponce de Leon beat Broner. they robbed him. & they should've DQ'd Broner when he turned his back on his opponent. or @ least a point deduction. i'm not even a fan of Paulie but i hope he brings it to the purseman all nite. show that lil' overrated ****er wut it feels like to lose.
