The only fighter Broner has ever fought that made him use the ring was Ponce a fight that was extremely close in many peoples eyes, Every body else stood in front of him and traded. Khan has fought Judah and Paulie, to guys who know how to use the ring and stopped them both and don't get me wrong I'm not a Khan fan but he has shown better ring general ship then Broner, do you think Ponce would have went the distance with a prior peterson fight Khan because before the Peterson fight he was really good but after that war he just can't take it any more and is trying to reinvent himself.

Khan has ring generalship. Good one buddy. That made my day.
broners ring generalship isn't brilliant tbh, khan has shown great ring generalship. For example, Against Garcia prior to the KO (because of chin issues). Paulie, Maidana (again chin issues), Lamont in a very close fight and Judah. All these fighters are champions or ex champions. They aren't bums at all khan has fought very good fighters. In all these fights he has showed good if not great at times ring generalship.

Now you my friend list to me all of broners performances of ring generalship same to his with the same level of competition. Btw, please don't mention PDL or rees because lets be frank here PDL beat him. And this is coming from a broner fan that can't stand his fake flash but really appreciates his style and I want him to do well. Because even though he hasn't fought the best opposition i believe he can be great.

So in conclusion, we can say that khan has a terrible chin and needs work. He has shown good if not great ring generalship against very good opposition. And the fact that broner needs to step and like Paulie is a great step up 2 weight classes above him even though he has had to dodge a few fighters *Cough vasquez cough*. I hope all the best for broner and i look forward to your list of counter arguments.

Please, tell us, who exactly has Senchenko ever beaten to prove to you or us that he's a fighter to be respected? What, a totally shot Ricky Hatton?

Senchenko, in his 25th fight, fought a guy with a 0-1-0 record. Before that, 9-12-0. His 32-0-0 when he fought Paulie was practically meaningless.

As for Khan having more ring generalship than Broner, you've got to be kidding me. Anybody who thinks that should be banned from bookies for their own safety.

I love Amir Khan, but he's about as 1 dimensional as they come, and he pays a heavy price for it. His ring generalship boils down to running backwards in a panic or bounce in and out with lightening quick offense and zero defense. Oh, he sometimes tries to armadillo shell defense it as an alternative to running backwards or throwing punches. That's Amir Khan in a nutshell.

It's what you don't see that proves Broner has better ring generalship (ffs I hate this nebulous term) than Khan. You don't see him getting hit flush with his hands down/nowhere. You don't see him pinned on the ropes. You don't see him off balance or facing the wrong way. You don't see him missing wildly.

Sure, a tough, rugged Ponce De Leon outworked him (in a fight where Broner landed almost all the quality punches) but other than that he's ******ed all the credible opponents on his record. All the best fighters had a tricky fight in their early career. It's par for the course.

khan is very mobile, but i wouldn't say he was a ring general. he doesn't seem to be that conscious of where he's moving or trying to manipulate his opponent's movement; he just moves in and out of range kind of randomly.

              Oh lord.

If you think tucking up tight whilst your opponent pounds on your midriff (Peterson), or wading in with your hands down until you get sparked (Garcia), or lightening quick punches flustering one of the cruder top fighters who comes on to nearly stop you (Maidana - who beats Khan in a rematch; he was recovering from the body shots for the 1st half of that fight), or beating up a guy who has been exposed every time he's fought a top contender (Judah) qualifies as "great ring generalship" then you have a very shallow understanding of the sport.

I like Amir Khan but he's got more holes in his game than Lionel Messi does in his tax filings. Khan turned pro way too early (would have been much better waiting for another olympics TBH) and has had the sense beaten out of him because of it.

                    No, I didn't.

Responding to them in sequence. Sorry; I don't like forum style threads to be honest. Prefer a threaded conversation (like reddit) but this is what we have.

Malignaggi better hope Broner is as overrated as he claims he is. Paulie for where his is now, the type of fighter he is, would get killed by any young gun with true skills and exceptional weapons.

I expect Broner to win. How he wins is what I'll be looking for.
