Guys that hurt Mayweather...HAD SPEED and was able to catch Mayweather with something he did not see coming, Zab had just as much if not more speed then Mayweather did when they fought. Chop Chop Corley had Speed, even a OLD Mosley still had Speed when he and Mayweather fought.

Canelo vs Mayweather I think will go like the Baldomir vs Mayweather IMO but we shall see. Mayweather could make it interesting IF HE WANTS if he fights like he did against Cotto but with his Father as his Trainer that is not going to happen. If Canelo stamina is not up to par and he gets tired like he did against TROUT? He could get stopped not by KO but his Corner could step in and preserve his young career and not let their your fighter get destroyed Mentally
I feel you with the corner stepping in to preserve the young fighter mentally. Thats a good point. Canelo is much better defensively then you give him credit for and hes very technical and smart. Canelo much faster then Mosley not even a fair comparison. He will catch Floyd question is how will Floyd hold up when he gets touched? Zab is still seeing stars from that Garcia ass-whoopin he got cuz Canelo is not a come forward aggressive fighter like he called him. That sounds like Peterson or Rios. Canelo stands in the center of the ring fighting of his back-foot waiting to counter and berly lets his hands go. How is that aggression? Zab is a tool.

The fact is that as an outsider I saw a decent boxer in Canelo vs Trout..most saw a fatigued fighter so did Floyd's camp. They asked for two pounds less to attempt to make that fatigue more prominent...this wasn't really about Floyd can't make 154 it was about make the other guy more uncomfortable. It's cool its part of the game but someone not worried about losing wouldn't go that far.
You have the most sense on this entire site.

These *****s are morons. Cotto turned the fight that way and they say Mayweather deliberately wanted to get shoved into the ropes and keep eating eating Cottos left hand while getting his nose broken in the process.Thats ****** Floyd doesnt like getting hit and he does his best in every single fight to not get hit.

Canelo and Floyd are both top talents who were recognized early on and have had good business people behind them.

I hope this one is interesting. I think it will be. I think Canelo has more skill than Victor Ortiz and physically I expect him to come in looking about the same as Ortiz did on fight night- a good 20 pound blimp out type of situation.
You think hes better then Ortiz?? Nothing to think about Canelo is lightyears better then Ortiz.

totally agree with Zab's comments -- Alvarez is made to order for MW -- that's why he's taking this fight -- Canelo's aggression will work against him and give MW plenty of opportunities to bust him up, discourage him and eventually stop him....

Canelo needs to have a word with guerrero about what FLoyd was good at. Canelo needs to know what Guerrero tried to do, and why he couldn't do it.

I think it comes down to Floyd's power. If he hits hard enough to keep the ginger prick off him, he'll be fine. If Cantlow can walk through his punches, it's a good fight.
