Its not Broner's fault that he's marketable and people wanna see him fight.

Mares fought Eric Morel and Chemito Moreno, a couple bantamweights, at 122. And last I checked, guys like Mikey, Chris John, and Salido are the top dawgs at featherweight. Mares aint fighting none of them either.

As for Matthysse, he's fought three guys that are currently rated in the top 10 in their division by Ring magazine. Judah, Alexander, and Peterson. And he's 1-2 against them. After Sat, Broner will have fought three guys currently rated in the top 10 in their division by Ring magazine. Demarco, Rees, and Paulie. What's the difference?

For all those *****ing about this fight and Broner's "choice" of Paulie as an opponent, peep this. AB's haters have made him an attraction. And since he's an attraction, his fights have become events. And when a guy becomes an attraction, its not always about the best match-ups, its about who creates the biggest event. AB's last two fights have come against top 5 lightweights. The last one he was lambasted for. The reality is, he should be going about cleaning up the lightweight division. But, since his haters have turned him an attraction, they needed an opponent that would create an event. So instead of fighting Miguel Vazquez or Richard Abril, he's fighting Paulie. And no matter what anybody says, jumping two divisions and fighting Paulie in Brooklyn for a belt will generate more money than anything he could have done at lightweight, maybe with the exception of fighting Burns abroad.

So True! Lopez/ Maidana fight was stopped way too early. I give Marcos credit though.

Broner is everything that is right with boxing inside that ring. Don't care much for his persona outside it, but as long as he's fun to watch I'll keep tuning in to see him.

Paulie is doing his best fighting with his mouth. Ironically, that's the only fight he can win against Broner. I usually don't predicts KOs but I see Paulie getting stopped within 6.

Why should Broner stand in line for tickets at 140 when he would BE the ticket at 147? If they wanna stay in their little safety zone of JWW then let them. It's easier for Broner (if he beats Paulie) to pick them off one by one, starting with Maidana, who after Broner snaps his little ass...everyone will be saying how he was too small for Broner.

You best believe we already know that Paulie is not fighting the current JWW 140 talent. Sheeid if Broner went to 140 and whooped ANY ONE of those cats y'all say he's ducking....do you think Paulie would be fighting Adrian?
Stop swinging off Broner's nuttsack that dude is overrated just look at his opponents. The top competition at 140 can beat Paulie and theyll beat Broner too. Alvarado, Rios, Garcia, Mathhysee would all beat Broner at 140 and no way is Broner beating Maidana dont kid yourself. Hes flat-footed and will cone forward and **** with Maidana cuz thats how he fights. I give Broner credit for pressing the action but that type of style suits Maidana.
