Broner definitely has changed his tune... Hmmm I wonder if showtime is behind this, I wonder how hbo would feel knowing that they built this guy up only to have him cashed out to mayweather on showtime. I doubt floyd would ever choose broner as an opponent; too dangerous, however he doesn't run the shots anymore. I wonder if showtime wants this fight over Matt/Garcia winner.

I think Floyd would love that fight.

"My big brother got his legacy, I got mine," Broner said. "I want to see him retire undefeated. I don't want to hand him a loss."

The only thing about Mayweather that boner wants to beat is his lil sausage.

I dont care WHAT he said. He said the same thing about Floyd, and Im sure he would say that about any legendary fighter who came before him. Fighters have thrown those types of comments around for years. I dont care about him carrying his belts or none of that jive. Bhop intentionally became cool with Ward to manipulate the situation where it would be like a close friend ship. But Ward knows that and is not falling for it.

            valid points......

but he's just selling himself at floyd's expense....

of course, not blaming him for that....

his eyes are fixed on the big green bucks....

just going at it in reverse

I think part of why GBP were happy to have Broner go to 147 is so he'd be at the weight, with a belt, ready for a shot at Floyd when it makes sense. He'll probably be next in line after the Alexander-Khan winner.

If Broner gets good viewing figures (seems like he will) then GBP and Showtime will want this fight in a year or so and it'll probably happen.
