White was there to be hit.

Hopkin's will have a field day countering.

He won't be so easy to hit.

He will smoother this guy and reduce his workrate with movement.

Hopkin's chin may have diminished, but he is tougher than most boxers period.

Power has rarely been why Hopkin's has lost, but speed.

Roman Simakov, one of only two men to take Kovalev seven rounds or more, paid dearly for his efforts, losing his life three days after the 2011 TKO 7 loss due to brain injuries sustained in the bout."

      wtf?

Hopkin's will never be just there to be hit. This guy will find it hard to land hard all night and Hopkin's should take him out of his rhythm.

I will look further on this video. What do you think of my thoughts?
It's a myth that fighters can't hit Hopkins though, he does get hit. Only difference here is that if this guy hits him he's going to know about it.

Actually he's really mobile for a LHW, very light on his feet, at least early rounds

for the same reason the worst fanbase rocked Pacquiao's unconscious body as a sig for months.

Of course he gets hit, but never more than 2 hard shots in a row, nor are there many flush shots. He rolls or smoothers before he gets hit.

Pascal fight showed he was able to get hit at his age, and even the Dawson fight, but once he is warmed up, he rarely gets hit flush.

Hopkins still has the faster hands, and more skills.

Kovalev is a big puncher with pretty good skills, but even at 48, I'm not taking power over Hopkins.

The LHW division is that weak.
