All he had to do was take the damn blood test and it would have happened. Instead, he and Bob Arum made up all kinds of excuses. He had trouble with Marquez what...4 times. Floyd pitched a shut out against Marquez. I honestly think for Floyd it was he always believed Pac would be an easy fight. He just hates Bob Arum and doesn't want to deal with him. Why else would he call Pac directly and offer him what was it 30 million flat ?

the legs are the first thing to go on a fighter. manny's legs have been going for many fights now. his legs were inhuman @ his peak. in the marquez fight his chin had clearly deteriorated.

he's been a whirlwind for almost 20 years. he turned pro when he was a boy, in '95. he has taken bombs in victory and defeat. he's thrice been knocked out now.

the great manny pacquiao is less than what he used to be.

For me after the Mosley fight I felt Pacquiao lacked his usual fire and flare. No sense of urgency and was basically carrying Mosley in there. Same with the Bradley fight, albeit he won the fight, he could have finished Bradley.

In the Marquez fight he seemed to have that sense of urgency and to pursue the fight.

I'm not sure what Pacquiao has left in the tank. If he comes out firing on all cylinders and throwing 80-100 punches around like he use to, Rios will be KO'd. That said, Pacquiao isn't the same fighter for me. The Mosley fight was evidence. It looked like he didn't want to be in there.
