This Mikey Garcia hype is really unreal....

mak top 10 is a little too high right now for me. martinez and burgos would definitely make him 12-15 IMO.

But yeah-if we get 3 weeks in a orw of danny/matts, floyd/canelo and then mikey/martinez-thats a great ****ing month of boxing.

you know, for months and months i would log on here and the b1tching about fights kinda numbed me

it was a good break because now that i look at it; Floyd-Canelo, JMM-Bradley, PAC-Rios, Danny-Lucas, these are all fight i WANT to see

be glad you didn't see Gamboa fight.

you will enjoy that fight. I taped it and watched it 3 times before deleting it.

it wasn't. but poster Cuauhtémoc1520 created a thread where he suggested he was top 10 or so p4p. He wasn't crazy or anything like that-just gave a well reasoned opinion.

IMO, not top 10 yet. Needs 2 more very good wins. Or 1 career defining win.

Gamboa looked like crap. His rep is still deservedly high but IDK if we will ever see the "pre miami ped shop being exsposed" gamboa. There is also Uchiyama. I know him but have only seen 1 or 2 fights.

Garcia looks to have the skill set and poise to become a p4p staple on most lists..

Right now may be alittle early but numbers 7-10 on most p4p list are wide open... I slide him in at 10 just because he clearly dominated 2 guys thought to be the top of his division.. Grant it JuanMa was damaged goods since salido, but garcia made it look easy vs lopez, he did exactly what you are suppose to do if you are a dominant fighter... And he did the same with salido....
I feel Garcia should take over 130 within a year, and probably wont get tested for awhile unless he goes to 135 and fights vasquez which would be a chess match...

I dont like the garcia crew, but mikey is a terrific young fighter
