I think you can argue beating salido and juanma the way he did makes an argument for him being a p4p fghter. I wouldn't and would disagree with you if you did.

IMO I would rate him if he beats Martinez in sept then goes on to beat burgos.

Broner and Lucas got p4p status from some after beating rees and mike dallas jr respectively. Salido and Juanma are light year ahead of both of them-and I hate Juanma and think he is a phaggotty sorry piece of ****.

he's got a simple style, heavy jabs(very heavy, guy is strong, also blowing up alot helps) to keep you busy, left hooks when you barge in, keeping the jab heavy takes the opponents mind off the right hand for a minute, then boom
all this while consistently being on the backfoot, coming foward i think his lack of versatility will show up as he gets out-boxed
simple style, tough to overcome, so far hasn't shown me he's that intelligent, and would like to see him against some intelligent boxers(higher tier), with head movement, barros did alright with just smarts, but mikey's power got to him

Yes, he is good no doubt but not quite PFP yet (top 10). But he is well on his way. If he's in your top 10 PFP, that's cool. Its your list. I just know he shouldn't be ahead of guys like Mares, Rigo and Froch and they're towards the bottom of my top 10.

i'm not saying he's top 5 but i can squeeze him in the top 10


the kid has looked good in every outing and has stepped up in big fights...i eagerly await his next bout

I agree, the GGG hype is a little bit too high at this moment, but it's more due to people knowing that he can clean out the MW division if he actually got the chance. I can see him beating each and every MW in the division, and by KO too.

I wasn't on this site after Mikey beat Juanma, how bad was the board? I honestly don't see that big of a Mikey hype.

mak top 10 is a little too high right now for me. martinez and burgos would definitely make him 12-15 IMO.

But yeah-if we get 3 weeks in a row of danny/matts, floyd/canelo and then mikey/martinez-thats a great ****ing month of boxing.

it wasn't. but poster Cuauhtémoc1520 created a thread where he suggested he was top 10 or so p4p. He wasn't crazy or anything like that-just gave a well reasoned opinion.
