As great as a potential win over Ward would be for GGG..... I see no reason why he should move up to do that yet. He has the potential to run 160 and completely clean house and own the division for as long as he wants- just like rigo. Lotta people want GGG and rigo to move up but they both have what it takes to absolutely run their divisions, just like Wlad is doing. IMO

The top MWs won't fight Golovkin. You can't have a run like Wlad if the opponents in the division refuse to fight you and you're not a big enough star for HBO to sign off on weaker opponents.

I think with HBO backing GGG, after Macklin, they could potentially make Murray, Geale-Barker, and Martinez fights. I'm not saying he has to fight every guy in the top 25. But those are the top possible fights for GGG at 160 (besides Quillin) and all of those fights are very possible IMO. If he was to beat, lets say Macklin, Murray, geale and Martinez, he would be the absolute man at 160 and you can pretty much say he runs the division with those wins alone..... Then I think moving up to Ward would be fine.
