Chris Byrd: The HW division's Sparrow!

I am becoming pissed at his constant bragging and complaining. He had a sweet deal with Don King but Byrd wouldn't attract opponents because of his style.
Wladmir is probably the only guy eagar to fight him because he knows he can win, but Byrd, who claims to be the best heavyweight in the world, knows what would happen if a rematch with Klitscko was made so he avoids the issue.
What are your opinions about the heartless sparrow?

I think Byrd is overated. Lets be real, he probably shouldn't even be champion right now. Golota may have beat him depending on who your talking to. And Fres Quendo got flat out robbed...

The deal was sweet, but King did not quite honor it.

I've seen some of Byrd's earlier fights, and i admire the guy. he's a guy who should have been a super middleweight, but decided to become a heavyweight early in his career. for a guy like him to constantly get in the ring with naturally bigger guys, and be willing to take murderous punches, shows how brave he is. not only is/was he very skillful at slipping punches, but his heart and chin surly must be underrated too. Ike Ibeabuchi remains the only man to have ever stopped him.

Byrd blames either Don King or every one in the HW division on his inactivity. He claims they are all scared of fighting him because he'll win. To a certain degree he has a point, some fighters would not relish fighting Byrd. But Byrd has a Wlad rematch on the offer but refuses because Byrd thinks the German's are against him and he'll be robbed!

I get the feeling some people may be judging Byrd on his most recent performaces without seeing his earlier bouts. I think Byrd will be better looked upon in years to come. he'll be looked upon as one of the great stylists.
