So who was Peterson's best win? Since were playing this card, a shot Holt, Khan who most say Peterson lost to, since you say Collazo beat Berto, well Khan beat Peterson. Also ESPN type fighter Victor Cayo? Berto vs Collazo was close and could of gone either way. Yes, Bailey shot to the top 10 after he KO Mike Jones, whom was ranked in the top 10. Aydin was ranked in the top 10, should he have been, NO! But he was

Still trying to figure out how a recognized champion isn't a Top 10 fighter in their division. The logic around this forum is entertaining nonetheless.

While I am not a big fan of Lucas yet.
I definitely see him in the top 10 and I would accept someone putting him as high as 5. Those loses still count whether you agree or disagree with them.

Ok obviously this is going right over people's heads. The fight officially took place at WW. We've seen this happen before many times. Canelo became ranked after beating career WW Hatton at 150. My whole point is why isnt he ranked (anywhere, i dont care where) if he just fought at WW?

Belts dont make fighters better, especially belts that are given to fighters. Wins are what matter

To get ranked as a welterweight you have to beat top welterweights.Beating the 140 champ at a weight of 141 is not the same as beating a top ten welterweight. Lucas has no plans to fight at welterweight anyway. He wants to fight Garcia. His weight is perfect at 140 and he should stay there unless he is offered a Mayweather fight in the future. The WBC had no business ranking Khan at welterweight but then it's the WBC and they don't even follow their own rules. I believe they withdrew Khan's welterweight ranking.

I do get the point of what you're saying and the sad part is that you're starting to sound more like a stan with every post. Canelo had been fighting at '54 before he fought Hatton. And, gee, I don't know, Alvarez doesn't have a gigantic fanbase and boxing is the most genuine, organized, non-corrupt businesses of all sports -- so, I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt despite your trolling intention with this thread.

So again, who did Pete or Matthysse beat at welterweight prior to fighting each other?
