    Why is Matthysse not ranked at WW?

    Lucas Matthysse officially had his fight with Peterson at 141, which is the WW division. Officially it was a welterweight fight so why isnt he a ranked WW?

          The welterweight division is hoping he ignores them and stays at 140

              Because GBP hasnt paid money to sanctioning bodies like they did for khan... Once they pay, he will be ranked at ww

                      Because he isn't in line to fight Mayweather yet. Just watch and see how he would be ranked there if Mayweather is interested in fighting him.

                              Peterson wasn't ranked at WW, so where would you put him there? Certainly not top 10. You're getting into extreme subjectivity here

                                  Devon made top 10 WW after beating Maidana

                                  And he fought a top 140 guy at WW, that counts for something. Canelo became #2 at 154 beating on WWs and LWWs
