After the second fight the very classy Donaire will say "Oh its the after effect of the surgery oh the baby has been keeping me up" Yes very classy.

Props to Donaire for reading my past posts and realizing that he had to cight this guy again to regain the respect he lost that night and in many I televises that followed. Like I said before he doesn't really have to win. He just has to show the heart he did show in the first fight.

I would say forget the rematch but who else could rigo fight? He's not moving up to featherweight so I guess it would make sense.

Hopefully donaire comes in with a slightly better gameplan than last time (if he even had one). Nonito looked extremely confused, in what was a pretty one sided fight minus the knockdown in rd. 10. If he loses again though, get ready for more excuses.

On a side note, does anyone remember when they panned to donaire's wife during the HBO broadcast...... DAMN!!

good for him for wanting to avenge his loss..i think he could do better in a rematch if he came in with a better game plan.

So should there be no rematches ever, then? Realistically, there's nothing else out there for Rigondeaux to take on and Donaire has said he wants a rematch, so why not hold a rematch? I think you should take Donaire's form and achievements over the past several years into consideration, give him the benefit of the doubt in perhaps him having an off-night or coming in under-prepared/with the wrong tactics. If that was the case, we'll see a competitive fight this time - if not, Rigondeaux wins fairly easily again and both fighters move on.

Rigo would beat him again. Rather see Donaire in a fire fight with Juanma at 126 if Juanma beats Mikey tonight.

All he has to do is ask uncle Bob for it, but he better start working on the new excuses cuz
Rig will finish him before the twelve.
And to those who said Rigo was surviving last fight I must say the only one I saw back pedaling who went around the ring once doing so was Donaire from min 2:45 to 2:34 in the 12th.
