Can't beat him...GET RID OF HIM! lol

NOT going to happen and nor should Ward move down or catchweight for anybody...FOR WHAT? He is not the one calling out the fighters at 160, only reason why he wants Chavez Jr because Chavez Jr is a HUGE Middleweight who comes in weighing 180 on fight night

Some of these folks replying have to be trolls. Most people that follow boxing know that he suffered a shoulder injury and was just recently cleared to train again. Heard something about a possible tune up fight in September.

          I agree with this.

I think people are hating on Ward because he's a diva now. I still think hes near the top p4p, but his PR rep needs to sit down with him and talk. He just has been saying the wrong things (i.e. he doesn't need Froch) and has shown arrogance. He merits some of it, but it's a little over the top (just like the SoG/religion BS).

I think they're both amazing champions but I give Ward the nod because of his overall better technical abilities and his unprecedented run during the "Super Six World Boxing Classic."

Ward is gonna sit at 168 for his entire career similar to Bernard Hopkins.

What are people talking about his inactivity for? The guy just beat Chad Dawson not too long ago and I heard he's been rehabbing an injury. He won the Super Six with ease.

The guy is clearly #2 pound for pound right now with Mayweather being #1. Sergio Martinez or Chavez should move up to 168 and get their asses beat by him.

Retire why? All he needs is a better promoter who might help get his profile a bit more higher.

Marquez can stake claim to #3 pound for pound.

No way he's above Ward. Please.

It took Marquez four fights to finally get a W over Pac. Eric Morales did it in his first fight with Pac.

Marquez was dominated by Mayweather. Lost to Chris John. Was afraid to fight prime Naseem Hamed, and has overall been on the canvas way too many times to be considered better than Andre Ward.

Ward is undefeated and has dominated the top fighters in his division (Froch, Kessler). Beat the #1 guy in the Light Heavyweight Division, and beat the #1 guy (at the time) in the 160 division (AA).

                  The kid is the goods.

thats crazy, marquez lands combinations that ward can only dream about! i think ward is also quite a dirty fighter.

and his super six run is over rated, froch and kessler are decent wins, but what about the rest? abraham, bika and green are hardly anything to shout about. his fight with dawson is not great considering it was at 168, then add in the fact that all his fights are in his backyard.

totally disagree, marquez is a multiple weight champion for starters. marquez has got more knockouts than ward has had fights. his win over pacman is a better single win than any ward holds. as lederman said, if you knock marquez down, he will get back up!
