Some insights on this thread....to which I would add, Paulie already holds a major advantage over Bronner. People have underestimated him and the Bronner camp are not getting the fight they think they signed up for.
Here is why. Paulie at the very least is a seasoned vet with a good beard who has mobility (as posters have compared Bronner's wide stance to Paulie's movement). One of the biggest factors in this fight is that Bronner is a slow starter. This ensures that it will be a close fight because Bronner will be the less mobile fighter, operating from behind if Paulie steals the first few rounds as Bronner has to figure out how to catch him.
Bronner has to figure out how to catch a guy who is hard to catch.... He may have to KO a guy who is hard to KO and has to win rounds with a style (wide stance) that is not conducive to success against a "sticker and mover."
I frankly don't see Bronner winning this fight.Comment

would be a major upset if Paulie wins -- he has to have an almost perfect fight to have a realistic chance unless like Popeye he eats a miraculous can of spinach right before the fight and becomes a big puncher -- don't see how he can stay away from Bronner enough -- his only chance is to stick and move all night long and that's going to be very hard to do -- Bronner is pretty quick and fast himself and can punch 10 times harder....Comment

Malignaggi has never been hard to catch, not that I'm comparing him to Margarito. The man doesn't even have the same mobility, and you make it sound as if though Broner's feet are stuck in cement. Broner hasn't needed to show much movement recently, and a good counter puncher can afford to be stationary. In this case, Broner's precision, timing and speed will force Malignaggi to either take the initiative or continue to get beaten to the punch, similar to rounds 1-3 of the Broner-DeMarco fight. Some insights on this thread....to which I would add, Paulie already holds a major advantage over Bronner. You act like Broner isn't gonna eventually time Malignaggi and counter over his jab, or land counter left hooks when Malignaggi decides to shoot that weird looking right hand of his, which is telegraphed. It's obvious Malignaggi has a problem with his right shoulder too. This is easy pickings man, a straight mismatch.Comment

The PROBLEM will have some PROBLEMS
Malignaggi will give Broner problems in there fight no question. Paulie is the slicker fighter especially when he wants to be. The biggest negative for Paulie will be when and if Broner finds out that he cannot be hurt by Malignaggi. If Paulie cannot get Broner to respect his punching at all, thats when the fight goes south for Malignaggi and pretty quick.Comment
WAR Paulie!
