I hope Canelo uses Castillo or Oscar game plans; that would guarantee a lose just like it did for them. It's funny people always bring up a game planned that failed(Castillo)twice. Do what Mosley for 50 secs in rd2 or Cotto in rd 8 but the problem with that is it got figured out. The reason Oscar stop jabbing because he kept getting countered.

Canelo is like that child prodigy with a musical instrument who plays like a seasoned master at the age of 13. Some people are born with a genius for certain arts and I think Canelo, has that in boxing. People cite his age and level of competition as the reason he can't match Floyd. I think right now he has a lot of skills that match up with Floyd's, and more power.

I certainly will never call this a cherry pick. At long last a legit threat. People are so used to predicting the Floyd wide UD, it has become the prefight mantra. But I don't see it that way at all. I think he will hurt Floyd in this fight, even if he doesn't stop him. Floyd isn't used to the type of tough fight this will be. Floyd will have to use his legs more because he will be on the move to avoid close contact. Canelo's stamina won't be an issue. Maybe Floyd won't be able to run as much as he wants to.

I can definitely see Canelo getting a decision.

You can't blame Canelo for dreaming. Let him dream, he will be woken up on September 14th.

You (and others) are making yourselves look dumb.
he couldnt make the catch weight, get your facts straight...

That is why quite a few Floyd fans were saying after the Trout fight that Canelo should fight someone his own size and fight at 160 or 168. So now Floyd asked for that same Canelo to have to go down to a limit of 152. Now you guys are saying he even fought at 150 so no problem for Canelo making weight. ....he failed to make the limit of 150, when he came in at 151.4 on the scale (2nd try).

Well for one, that fight with Hatton was like 2.5 years ago. For a young fighter that is a long time ago. Still he came in over ....Canelo was fighting at WW the year before that .... Now add to that Canelo came in at 172 against Trout and has stamina issues .... so perhaps even making 154 can be difficult .... going down to make that limit of 152 can't be a good thing for Canelo.

Let's hope he looks good and doesn't have to work too hard to make weight.

Marquez weighing less than a Pacquiao put him to sleep but Pacquiao has been stopped twice before.
I'd say his loss to Chris John is deserved, he also lost his first fight, but I haven't bothered to watch that one.

Do you care to give a breakdown on those specific skills? As far as i know, Canelo's skill set are underrated, but he's still not on Floyd's level. Besides Canelo's youth, size, and power, i don't see any other advantage he'll have on fight night. If he thinks he can outpoint Floyd in the center of the ring, then he's way over his head.

Also Canelo's more athletic and flexible than Guerrero, Guerrero's jab is very bad, Canelo was able to outjab Trout, and Trout's workjab is no joke, he is slow as hell ( Canelo punches faster than Guerrero even thou he's a bigger man), Canelo punches harder than Guerrero, and the best factor, Canelo's smarter than Guerrero, don't get me wrong, Guerrero is a top fighter but he ain't at Canelo's level by any mean at all.
Guerrero's a better fighter than Canelo, Guerrero's a more proven fighter than Canelo.

                      Vazquez win makes Canelo elite?
