lol He was the only man to stop Glenn Johnson & Tito Trinidad who have notoriously one of the better chins in there divisions, watch the Sergunda Mucaco fights where Mucaco knocked him down, and the Elchols rematch which was a dirty brawl like a rickey hatton fight.

People constantly crap on him for a handful of slow fights, yet nobody wants to mention his other great fights like the ones Davis here mentioned, the ones I just mentioned, and the Pavlik, and Pascal fights were also exciting. Even the Jermain Taylor first fight was exciting when Hopkins battled back at the end.

at this point, Hopkins is basically a ciosity item -- he'll never fight anyone who he thinks has any chance to beat him -- for years, he has stunk up every arena he has fought in, win or lose -- admire him for even being able to get in there at his ridiculously advanced age but he's really not relevant anymore....

It should be Stevenson or Cleverly while Ward rematches Froch. Either those 2 fights or he should just retire even though I love watching him fight and appreciate his last few fights as we will not see a great like him for awhile.

well, if that's true, that a once great fighter who is about 15 years past his prime and pushing 50 can remain at the top, then that division is truly DOA, even worse than the HW division, if that's possible

Cancelling this Murat fight is the best gift anyone could have asked for.
