Promoters, tv networks are not there to please six people. They're there to make money. Soon you'll be watching nothing if that kind of trend continues.

Most tv networks don't make money off their newscasts. They make up for it on reality shows, American Idol, Voice, etc. Promoters have no funds for boring fights.

You most be a hater, a miracle, you call 300 left hands in the same place a miracle? the quitting wasn't for one shot in the 9th, is was an accumalation of punches and he couldn't take no more, he was on his way to be stopped not Lara whom got caught twice by punches he never saw, and still got up and continued to put a beating on Angulo even thought they were in a phone boot, Lara's handlers should take care of his fighters better and check all the details not only the purse, all cards were stacked against him...

He is the TOP FIGHTER, can you read? They used all the tricks to made Lara fail, small ring, Angulos weight, no cooling between rounds and still Lara made Angulos the proud Mexican warrior quit...

Who are the top guys in the division? I'm assuming you mean Canelo and Trout. Neither of whom fight like Angulo. Boxing is all about styles. Lara has fought tougher opponents than both of them and that's why his record isn't as pretty. I don't see Canelo fighting Molina, Angulo, and Vanes. Lara is the one who stepped in the ring against those guys. He didn't win them all but he tested himself. Canelo gets lots of credit for beating Trout but that his only good win. Trout's good wins are Delvin Rodriguez and Cotto who doesn't belong at 154. In short, Lara is one of the top guys at 154. He may not beat Canelo and Trout but those are good fights and neither guy can easily defeat him. This is why Golden Boy has been keeping Canelo away from him for over a year.
