That was a war they both deserve respect and tho I'd love a rematch, I'd love to see him fight Trout or Cotto.

smh at people criticizing him for calling out Cotto or Trout. How is he going to earn a Canelo fight then? Canelo has been ducking him for years now.

I'd make Lara vs Canelo shortly after his fight with Mayweather if I were Schaefer. I understand that it's a high risk, low reward for Canelo. **** that. Make the fight happen win or lose to Canelo. Get it over with. A fighter like Canelo can afford to lose one fight and fans would still want to see his next fights. If Lara won by a boring UD, good for him. Let's see what happens after that.

I don't disagree with Shaefer, sadly there are too many blood thirsty ghouls, and definatly a KO if far more atractive than a long draged arss fight.....thats like comparing supermodel Adriana Lima with Rosie O'donnell.

On the other hand *&%$@ to all of those who say that a fight like this would not sell....IMO if Lara take more risks and whoops peoples arsses more convinsingly I"m on Lara's vanwagon. this fight should be consider for fight of the year.

if they really put a limit to his rehydration weight but not angulo then that's some shady maneuvering by gbp.

Really wish rehydration limits were mando for every fight. Its ridiculous for Angulo to be coming in around 170 (I'll give/take some for clothes, but that would be the same for Lara as well).

That is some shady underhand BULL**** by GBP and I don't doubt it one bit, no question GBP wanted Angulo to win and they made it pretty obvious after the fight. Because Angulo is more marketable but that is BS when you try to influence the outcome of the fight by trying to give one fighter the edge

But to be honest I don't need to see a rematch, I think Lara would really pick Angulo apart in a rematch, he is just too slow for Lara. It is plenty of match ups for Lara at 154 even if he doesn't give a shot a Canelo.

I would love this matches, this are very intriguing fights....IMO Kirkland has more power than Angulo.....and Trout is just as skiled as Lara. The winner should fight Mayweather cause Mayweather will beat Canelo.

People are mad that Lara broke poor perro's face. Let's face it, he's a flat flooted sluggish brawler that was hyped up as hell. Lara won every round he wasn't knocked down in. Angulo was never elite and never will be, so of course he won't get respect. he's an exciting fighter but anyone with an ounce of boxing skill will beat angulo, and possibly break his face again.

If Lara quit, we wouldn't hear the end of it. But if it's chicken alfredo, it was a fluke! Angulo should fight Rosado, someone on his own level. Or possibly mundine, alfonso gomez. Those are guys he could compete against.
