People are mad that Lara broke poor perro's face. Let's face it, he's a flat flooted sluggish brawler that was hyped up as hell. Lara won every round he wasn't knocked down in. Angulo was never elite and never will be, so of course he won't get respect. he's an exciting fighter but anyone with an ounce of boxing skill will beat angulo, and possibly break his face again.

Angulo was ahead on one of the cards and only a point behind on the other two. Rematch would definitely be merited as it was well on its way to being a top FOTY candidate.

That said, I fully understand Lara'a ambition and with his skill level that ambition is justified.

Schaefer should have said that about Lara his job is to promote his fighter not talk bad about him. Lara job is to win in the ring .

He fed us ****ty ass Andre Berto fights for 5 years, now all of a sudden he has a hard on for action fights at the expense of a guy like Lara who would kick Berto's ass from Havana to Port Au Prince and back in one night.

Berto has only been with Golden boy for 1 fight, Dibella was the one who had him on HBO fighting bums for years.
