I just love the simplistic rationale the haters use to belittle Mayweather. At some point, even a hater has to realize that their reasoning extends well beyond a critical assessment of Floyd's skills inside of the ring. Surely they must see that maybe their objections are rooted in something deeper and less defensible, maybe even racial?

Funny how some forget (Castillo himself) that Floyd went into the first Castillo fight with an injury. In the second fight between Floyd and Castillo, Floyd completely dominated Castillo. So if Castillo is referring to the injured Floyd then yes, Canelo can put pressure on Floyd. A healthy Floyd is too much for anyone. By the way, a lot of folks (myself included) felt Floyd beat Castillo the first time they met.

As far as the Paul Williams fight, that's laughable. Paul Williams, god bless him, but he's never been one of my favorites. His fighting style was plain idiotic and he had an even dumber trainer. Paul has beaten nobody to warrant a fight with Floyd, and as far as I can remember, they never made any serious calls to the Mayweather camp for a potential fight. Paul was a tall fighter that fought like he was 4 feet tall, and that cost him. He got beat by Martinez twice, and got beat down by Lara. Paul wouldn't of stood a chance against Floyd, but of course that's just my opinion.

P. Williams did call out Floyd .... but Floyd wanted no part of Williams.

For sure Williams had some problems with southpaws but Floyd is not a southpaw ......
