    Facts:

    1. Floyd did not want to fight Castillo, he was forced to and it started the collapse with Arum. Even Floyd's trainer is on record stating they did not like the matchup and did not want the fight.

    2. What was Floyd's injury? Because he only became injured after people ringside started saying he should've lost that fight..how convenient.

    3. Saying what happened in the second fight somehow nulls out any debate about the first fight is complete and utter noob logic. Castillo was never the same fighter mentally after he felt he was robbed in that fight. He isn't the first
of last fighter to completely never recoup from taking a controversial loss.

Now as a fan of the sport, I have seen that first fight over and over again. Only truly blind fanboys can say that first fight was not debatable and had Mayweather been anyone else he in all likelihood would not have walked out of there with the win. Here is another interesting bit, the only other challenger to floyd with an unorthodox fight style that didn't give away reach advantage to Floyd was Paul Williams and because of that Floyd never fought
Paul...interesting...now please give me an excuse as to why Floyd wouldn't fight Paul. I'll give you ten reasons why he refused to fight him.
Much of what u say is true about Floyd and his team not wanting the fight but
did you even watch the first fight? Floyd clearly tells Roger after the first round that he hurt his left shoulder.... Then sometime during the fight he injured his right hand. He shakes his right hand repeatedly throughout the fight to try and shrug it off.... He repeatedly turned southpaw throughout the fight because he hurt his left shoulder and was trying to give it some relief.....THOSE ARE THE FACTs

Canelo had success boxing against Trout but Mayweather he needs to mimic the Castillo DLH gameplan impose his size and strength on Mayweather

It won't be easy and Castillo says the 22-year-old champion will have to use the right tactics.

"I did everything humanly possible to win that day, and I think I won the fight," Castillo said. "I demonstrated, I believe, that Mayweather was not invincible, but he is a great fighter. He is very complete, good stamina, fast. I think he should be in the top five in the world in boxing history." [Click Here To Read More]
Castillo fought one hell of a fight against Floyd, no question about that but lets not get it twisted, Floyd was a different fighter then, still learning, still growing as the rematch demonstrated. So Castillo saying Floyd can be beaten is meaningless because one man is still an active fighter making bank and the other is giving his thoughts from the sidelines.

Canelo is no Castillo, seriously. Castillo fought Mayweather the student, Canelo is fighting Mayweather the professor.

I wonder if Sr will make Floyd constantly use the jab in this fight as he did against Marquez. Floyd can always throw lead right hand in the late rounds after Canelo slows down, but i think he needs to use his jab to set up the straight punches upstairs in the early rounds. When he fought Guerrero, he started off the early rounds with lead right hand right off the bat and got countered by a body punch.

I predict Canelo will have a similar approach to Castillo up until round 7 where he'll get frustrated and look for a one-punch KO which will make things worse for him.

Watch the video and you'll see that Castillo won the first fight and even HBO, Compubox and the usual pro-Floyd media accepted it except the 3 judges who scored 111-115 against JLC. And strangely in the rematch in which Floyd clearly won the judges scored it closely accounting only 113-115 (go figure always the ******ity of the judges). However, whether or not the fans of FM will ever recognize the defeat, the truth is that Alvarez probably would never be able to imitate Castillo with a relentless attack like Jose Luis did in 2012. Alvarez appeared to have stamina problems against Trout (unless Saul intentionally felt that he had the victory after the knock down but in any way he had the obligation to continue fighting for the whole fight instead of slowing the pace as he did). Saul is going to get help to try to get better prepared but maybe 3 months is not enough time to see any improvement.

An athlete that is super fit starting that 3 mths can be in magnificent shape with the right training , its ample time and I guarantee you Canelo will be in the shape of his life , everybody that fights Floyd is inspired to get into another level of conditioning they have never been to they train like machines for Floyd , lol and he knows it thats why he works so hard .

safe to say he shoukld be able to turn up for this fight. Win or lose we should see the best Canelo yet. If fighting Mayweather cant bring it out of him then nothing will.
