        Yea, because though I think Canelo is inexperienced, I don't think he's a bum at all. The size, youth, power all play as a benefit to Canelo along with the fact that he's not slow at all (for a 154 fighter). In the Guerrero fight, contrary to what some were saying about Floyd's legs, he really didn't use them THAT much. Guerrero didn't quit, but he didn't push the pace and or pressure Floyd in a way where Floyd had to evade and or constantly move to reset his position. Guerrero would throw and Floyd would just pivot a little and be out of the way.

        The difference in this fight is Canelo is clearly a dangerous puncher and Floyd's not going to want to get in front of that fire. But for Canelo to land flush he's gotta land during exchanges. Floyd always seems to be the guy to land 1st and get out of the way (not using much mobility at all). But if Floyd gets clipped hard within him trying to land 1st (tough task), it could get interesting fast.

          Outside of Martinez, (at whichever catchweight Floyd chooses to suite him), Canelo is the only other fighter from the lucky lambs Floyd had as options that has the chance to beat him.

            What Bob said is actually very accurate. You need stamina to beat Floyd.

            If you tire at round 8, you basically lost every round.

            Floyd can capitalise on any weakness because he is that good.

            He also said Floyd is a very good fighter.

              You are pretty dumb, or you have never seen a Canelo fight

              Canelo has very fast hands, he outlanded trout many times by sheer speed.
              And Canelo`s whole game is counter combinationpunching.

                [QUOTE=ailicec;13464637]Power = Canelo
                Youth = Canelo
                Speed = Mayweather Ring Smart = Mayweather
                Stamina = Mayweather
                The only reason I give Mayweather the fight is because Canelo seems to loose stamina in the later rounds and that is when Mayweather will take advantage.
                Canelo has quite a few options but the main one he has I believe is for him to just go straight at Mayweather and do a Castillo style onslaught. He is bigger and stronger and has big power in his hands that he can punch Mayweather as soon as they come into close quarters. If he can do this for the first 6 rounds and feel comfortable that he won those rounds then he can wait for Mayweather to come to him as Mayweather will be forced to fight Canelo and that is when Canelo can do a Marquez style Pacqayoed on Mayweather as he will be coming towards Canelo.
                The number 1 and 2 main enemies of Canelo are stamina and that he tends to think too much instead of throwing more in the fights I've seen of him. If he can better this two problems then Mayweather's O will defintely GO![/QUOTE

                Defense< Mayweather
                Punching Accuracy < Mayweather
                Hand Speed < Mayweather
                Experience < Mayweather
                Skill < Mayweather
                People wanting him to win < Canelo
                Hair Color < Canelo

                There's a lot more than two reasons why Canelo will lose this fight. Its interesting that you give him an advantage for youth but Mayweather the advantage for stamina. What good is youth if it doesn't translate into stamina? So, really you are saying the only advantage Canelo has is size and power. Okay, the 172lb man hits harder than the 150lb man, what a surprise! Nothing wrong with believing in your guy, but let's keep it in perspective relative to what we know and have seen thus far.

                  Instead of asking if anyone could beat Floyd, why didn't they specifically ask Arum if one of his boxers could beat Floyd?

                    ^this post made absolutely no sense at all, its like reaching just to hate the man.

                    If you watched the video interview, he didn't even come off bitter, and I don't know how you would make it as if Arum came off bitter.

                    He says a positive thing about Floyd and you get mad, he says a negative thing about Floyd you get mad, either way the man will get slammed.

                    Arum is pretty much speaking the truth, he has no dog in the fight, Canelo gassed out with Trout, the kid was already having trouble making 154, he is a big boy like Chavez Jr. and look how Chavez drainer Jr looked against Martinez, he was gassed and didn't try to throw any shots till the end. Another young fighter with stamina issues from weight cutting.

                      it's the truth no reason for people to get butt hurt over it just because Arum said it.

                      if he's speaking the truth how is that wrong?

                      people complain he's trying to tone down the hype for the fight but if the fight is most likely to be a Mayweather clinic why follow the hype?

                      if the fight doesn't live up to the hype, I think that's worse for boxing. Arum just telling the truth (for the 1st time) and if this fight can't hold up against honest criticism then it certainly isn't worth buying.

                      Arum doesn't need to down this fight to build up his own because Pacquiao Rios will probably gross 500 million from the Chinese PPV sales alone. that's why he's being honest because he knows he's found a gold mine in Asia.
