  • Do you agree most boxer runner got a weak chin?

it has to be one of the reason why they resort to boxing in their back foot

    ex. lara

    went down twice vs angulo

what impressed me more about angulo is he sent lara down twice while lara was running on the backfoot :/ which is hard to do

i know some chooses to box because they have the skills to box
but im thinking if this guys try to go to war at one point vs a puncher theyll go night night

Fighting off your backfoot equals bad chin, got it.

Technically, yes. Fighters who get knocked down easily when they stop running/"using footwork" NEED to keep running to avoid getting their glass chins hit. They have difficulty fighting and being close to their opponents, so it wouldn't make sense for them to stand and trade; they need to keep their distance and box smart. Rigondeaux and Lara do exactly that. Amir Khan is too ****ing dumb to understand.

Being evasive + landing your intended punches = Boxing

id agree that the more aggressive boxers have a better chin. they believe in their chin more and aren't afraid to walk into bombs. but just because a guy fights off the backfoot doesn't mean he has a bad chin. rmaybe he is smarter by making them miss and pay for it. you cant have a chin like amir khan and come in throwing 9 punch combos like pacquiao thats why khan gets iced all the time

I don't think so, Viper. Floyd has a great chin and he's considered a runner. But if you say so...

Angulo is a big puncher and has knocked out plenty of machismo tough guy brawlers with that same left hook. The fact that Lara got up twice to smash angulo's face and make him quit in lets me know he has a good chin.

Mayweather and Marquez immediately come to mind.

                  So, no, I wouldn't agree.

Not at all. Lara and Rigo don't fight like that cause they have a weak chin. They've been brought up from the Cuban amateur boxing system. That's how they teach boxing cuban style. BTW Lara doesn't have a weak chin.
